A Day of Welcome: Building a Culture of Welcome for Refugees and Asylum Seekers – Friday 17 June 2022 KS1 – KS4
The Norfolk Schools of Sanctuary, a small group of educators and volunteers committed to building a culture of welcome for refugees and asylum seekers in Norfolk schools and beyond is hosting A Day of Welcome, Friday 17 June 2022. This aims to be a day of solidarity and learning in schools to build a culture of welcome and understanding for refugees and asylum seekers, and support Refugee Week. It provides resources and activities that make it easy for schools and families to participate, in school and at home. For Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Essex schools, we also provide resources designed to share little-known local histories of refugee migration.
