DfE makes a plea on social media for all test results – even if negative or void – to be reported
Recording all test results helps scientists stay ahead of the virus by spotting new outbreaks quickly and advising how to respond. It wants to understand the amount of Covid circulating in the (school) community. It cannot get a clear picture of COVID-19 rates within the community if tests are not reported. This includes reporting negative test results, of which most tests are.
