Meet The Team

Lisa is CTSN's Director for Primary, Secondary and Early Years. She has worked in the education sector for over 25 years as a teacher, headteacher and Specialist Leader in Education. She is passionate about research in education and has a Masters in Education Leadership and School Improvement from Cambridge University, where she investigated the journey of a SCITT trainee. Lisa has worked as a senior tutor and PGCE Tutor for CTSN and is now also the Director for Primary Essex SCITT.

Emma is the Primary Programme Lead and well-being tutor. She was a year 4 teacher and has mentored teacher trainees across a range of providers and ECTs. Emma was a key stage 1 LA moderator, English lead, DSL and part of SLT. Passionate about research in Education she gained an MEd in researching practice from Cambridge University and gained an NPQH.

Laura is the Secondary Programme Lead. She's an English Teacher and Lead Practitioner, alongside her CTSN roles. Laura is passionate about developing confident and self-motivated learners. She also specialises in coaching, mentoring and providing high quality, innovative CPD to colleagues at all different stages of their teaching careers.
Laura is also one of CTSN's PGCE tutors.

Sarah McGill is the Administrative Manager for CTSN SCITT overseeing the Recruitment and Programme admin teams. Sarah has many years experience in education having worked previously as a 6th form admin manager, lead a teacher training school and worked as a teaching assistant in school.
